MFT Happy Birthday Frame

Hi Lovelies...

Today I have a few cards I made using the MFT Circle Happy Birthday Frame Die, along with their Shaker Essentials circle acetate bubbles.

I die cut the frame, then coloured each letter separately in a rainbow of colours.  Then I made the shaker element, using sprinkles (not real ones!)  I coloured and fussy cut cakes from the MFT All The Cupcakes set then adhered them to the acetate bubble, adding some glitter to give sparkle to the icing.

Finally I created the card base, by using some gingham paper, with a strip of gold mirri card onto a diecut rectangle.  I adhered the shaker to this panel, then added it all to the card base.

I did a few different colours to have some in stock!

MFT Butterfly

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm sharing a CAS card - white on white with a splash of gold and colour, that evolved while I made it.

Firstly I die cut the butterfly from a Distress Oxide blended piece of card, which I'd splattered with gold watercolour paint.  Then I created an embossed panel, with a smallish pattern.  I diecut the gold circles for the centre cutting two in white also to give depth.  I adhered them together, then adhered these to the embossing.  Then I decided to use one of the white offcuts for the centre and adhered that.

I added a tiny sentiment which I'd embossed in gold on white, then gave that a gold shadow with mirri cardstock - matching the matt and layer gold.

Card Info:
Dies: MFT Butterfly, Simon Says Stamp Circle Loops
Crafts Too Embossing Folder
Sentiment - Pretty Pink Posh Simple Sentiments
Distress Oxides - Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed

Sorry for the extra photos - I was trying to get the butterfly in the best light to show the splatters!

Hope you like my make today...

Waffle Flower Postage Stencils and Die Sets

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm sharing a couple of cards that I made this week, using the Waffle Flower Postage Die and Stencil Sets which I absolutely love!

For the first, I diecut the postage stamp shape, then used one of the Postage Collage Colouring Stencils, blending through with some Distress Oxides in pastel colours.  Then I used the new Wildflowers Silhouettes stamp set, stamping in Versamark then heat embossing with white embossing powder.  Over that, I used some of the tiny stamps from the Postage collage collection stamped in black, then added the Get Well using the new word die with gold mirri card and a white card shadow.  Lastly, I matted and layered the image and added a few gold dots and hearts.

Card Info:
Distress Oxides - Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Saltwater Taffy,
Scattered Straw, Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass

For my second card - I again used the Postage Collage Colouring Stencils - this time with the other stencil in the set.  Again I used the tiny stamps to show the postal images.  I added a large die cut hugs word this time.

Card Info:
Avery Elle Simply Hugs Die
Distress Oxides
Matt created with Distress Spray Stain

Hope you like my creations today.  I find it extremely difficult to get the gold mirri card to show in my photographs... so you'll just have to take my word that it shines beautifully in real life!

Hero Arts Butterfly Confetti

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm back with my card using lots and lots of butterflies...  I decided to do a 'flight' a they all took off to fly to their next flowers!

Firstly, I did some rainbow ink blending using Distress Oxides onto white card, then I die cut the butterflies using a new die to me - it's by Hero Arts and is called Butterfly Confetti.  I had seen a card recently which I loved, using tiny butterflies, so had found this cover plate die online.

Then after they were cut, it was about placing them!  Obviously they had to be in rainbow order - and I decided to keep the larger ones in the centre, with the tinies around the edges.

I finished by adding tiny gems to the butterflies, then lots of glitter dots around the edges.  I added a tiny sentiment and it was done.  I added the panel to a card base which I'd rainbow coloured to match around the edge.

Card Info:
Dies - Hero Arts Butterfly Confetti, MFT Stitched Rectangles
Distress Oxides - Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed,
Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet
Sentiment - Alex Syberia Designs Celebrations

Hope you like my butterfly card - I'm afraid with the recent rainy days, the light wasn't good for my photographs, so it doesn't show at it's best.  Ah well.... one day I'll get a GOOD photo!

Big hugs...

LTTS Doodles Fluffy Chick

Hi there...

This little guy has been sitting on my desk, all coloured up and fussy cut for a couple of weeks.. I spotted him again at the weekend and knew he needed his time in the spotlight!  Maybe a little late for Easter, but I'm sure he doesn't mind.

I kept my card very CAS - with a little blending for the background, and a tiny sentiment.  I adhered him with 3D foam pads onto the square mat, then popped that onto foam pads also.

LOTV Magical Florals

Hi Lovelies...

Hope you all had a lovely Easter!

Today I'm sharing a card using an LOTV clear stamp set called Magical Florals which I bought at a craft show last year.

I coloured the image, then stamped a further image just for the flower heads.  I colour those, then fussy cut the upper petals - which I attached with 3D foam pads, to give a 3D effect.

I matted and layered the circle and added a few gems, and it was done.

MFT Sweet Some Bunny

Hi Lovelies..

I'm still on my mission to use my older stash...  so my card today features an older set from MFT - Sweet Some Bunny.  I've got to say, it does me lots of good to feel I'm using something older, with a new twist.

I was inspired by a card by Joy Taylor (thank you Joy) - I think from 2018 - but I used it in my own style - CASing the use of the diecut circle words.  I ink blended the cloud background, and added an ink blended strip along the side, before adhering the circle and the bunny in her little car, which I'd coloured and fussy cut.

Card Info:
Image - MFT Sweet Some Bunny
Dies - MFT Happy Birthday Circle Frame, MFT Bundle of Balloons
Stencil - MFT Mini Clouds
Distress Oxides - Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold,

Colouring - Copics
Bunny - T0/1/2/3 R00/000  Car and Balloon - BG10/11/13
Bag, Dress and Bow - R81/83 Tyres - T1/3

I was definitely pleased how this turned out.. and I have stamped more of the bunnies in the set to use very soon!

Digi Stamp Boutique Flower Heart

Hi Lovelies...

I've been taking a look through all the digi images on my PC - believe me, there are lots!  Then this one caught my eye - it was from the Digi Stamp Boutique - which I think is no longer in business - such a shame!

Anyways... I coloured it then matted and layered it.  I added some tiny butterflies which I managed to find last week, after seeing NB Cards use butterfly confetti in one of her fab videos.  Unfortunately, the photo taken from the front doesn't show the gold mirri to it's best - but you can see it in the one I took from the side.

LOTV Teacup Bunnies

Hi Lovelies...

Well I'm certainly in my pink and cute zone at the moment, and am loving colouring these gorgeous LOTV images - this time I've used the Teacup Bunnies clear stamp set, which contains lots of gorgeous images!

I've coloured the image, then created a panel with an aperture to go over.  I used an old die for the aperture - one in my folder that has lots it's name.  But it was the perfect size, so out it came.  I adhered the panel with 3D foam tape so it's offset a tiny bit from the image.

Lastly, I added a little sentiment..

Card Info:
Image - LOTV Teacup Bunnies
Sentiment - Reverse Confetti
Die - no name (sorry) but it's pretty old
Colouring - Copics
Rabbit - E30/31/33 R20/00
Teacup - R000/00 G20

Cute or what???  I was trying to find 'the right' sentiment for the image - and decided that I may give it to my favourite barista, so thought the one I used was perfect!

I have lots more of these images coloured, so watch this space!

Big hugs
